Fast and Accurate High-density Hrtf Mea- Surements Using Generalized Frequency- Domain Adaptive Filter

چکیده
High-Density (HD) Head-related transfer function (HRTF) measurements are extremely timeconsuming and complicated. This problem can be solved by continuously rotate a dummy head and using on-line de-convolution of binaural signals to obtain the HD HRTFs. In this work, we use a generalized frequency-domain adaptive filter (GFDAF) for HD HRTF measurements, which has significant better convergence performance than the normalized least mean square (NLMS) method, so as to admit faster rotation speed. The performance is validated based on a well-established HD HRTF database. We simulate the binaural signals using time-varying convolution, and both microphone noise and measurement noise are considered. The HRTF errors are evaluated under different noise levels and different rotation speeds. The results show that the proposed method can always achieve better results than the traditional method when the rotation speed is faster.

Channel Effect Compensation in OFDM System under Short CP Length Using Adaptive Filter in Wavelet Transform Domain
Channel estimation in communication systems is one of the most important issues that can reduce the error rate of sending and receiving information as much as possible. In this regard, estimation of OFDM-based wireless channels using known sub-carriers as pilot is of particular importance in frequency domain. In this paper, channel estimation under short cyclic prefix (CP) in OFDM system is con...

Physical-layer network coding (PLNC) has the ability to drastically improve the throughput of multi-source wireless communication systems. In this paper, we focus on the problem of channel tracking in a Decode-and-Forward (DF) OFDM PLNC system. We proposed a Kalman Filter-based algorithm for tracking the frequency/time fading channel in this system. Tracking of the channel is performed in the t...

A step-by-step algorithm for enhancement of periodic signals that are highly corrupted by additive uncorrelated white gausian noise is proposed. In each adaptation step a new parallel second-order section is added to the previous filters. Every section has only one adjustable parameter, i.e., the center frequency of the self-tuning filter. The bandwidth and the convergence factor of each secti...
متن کاملConvergence analysis of a frequency-domain adaptive filter with exponential power averaging and generalized window function
One of the advantages of a Frequency-Domain Adaptive Filter (FDAF’) is that one can achieve convergence at a constant rate over the whole frequency range by choosing the adaptation constant for each frequency bin I equal to the overall adaptation constant divided by an estimate of the input power at this frequency bin. A commonly used method, applied in this paper, to estimate the input power i...

In this paper, a new sensorless model reference adaptive method is used for direct control of active and reactive power of the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). In order to estimate the rotor speed, a high frequency signal injection scheme is implemented. In this study, to improve the accuracy of speed estimation, two methods are suggested. First, the coefficients of proportional-integral ...
